BEG TEXAS TWOSTEP - Rhonwyn
Prerequisite: Ability to Walk.

The Texas Twostep is the most important Country and Western dance. It is easy to learn and fun to use. From George Strait's "Fool Hearted Memory" to Shania Twain's "Holding onto Love", the Twostep is used to a wide variety of C&W music. When you live in Houston, Texas, you should get plenty of opportunities where a little knowledge of the Twostep will come in pretty handy.
 

BEG WESTERN WALTZ - Jill
No Prerequisite

Western Waltz is considered the "Romantic" Western dance. The stakes being what they are, no sensible man should ignore this important dance!  The moves are quite graceful and the music is very pretty.
 

Western Waltz patterns are taken from Ballroom Waltz. Some Waltz patterns travel and others such as the Box Step are danced in one area.  Western Waltz moves include the Ballroom Waltz patterns that automatically "travel" around the floor just as a Twostep or Polka would.  At the party later on expect plenty of Western Waltzes like “You Look So Good in Love” and “Open Arms” to practice to at the dance party.
 

NIGHT CLUB - Scott
No Prerequisite

Danced to slow, romantic songs, Night Club is an unusual dance perhaps best described as an "active" form of Slow Dancing. Combining a special blend of Latin footwork and Foxtrot patterns, Nite Club is a pretty dance to see and fun to use. Nor is it difficult to learn.

Although it is always nice to be in love and have the chance to dance by rocking in place with your amour, Nite Club is equally romantic and far more interesting to dance! 

You would be surprised at the number of songs that would normally be considered "Slow Music" including Western music and Popular music that suddenly become exciting to dance to once you master this unique dance.  Although Nite Club is most commonly used to Western music, it works just as well to any romantic ballad.
 

CHER'S FAV GHOST TOWN PATTERNS - Cher
Prerequisite: Adv Western Swing

Cher is one of the studio's most experienced Western teachers. Along with her buddy Scott Ladell, Cher has been teaching Ghost Town patterns for years.  Cher has a few tricks up her sleeve many of us have never seen before. Come see what she has cooked up for you!
 

SYNCHRONIZED POLKA - Linda
Prerequisite: Int Western Swing

Synchronized Polka is one of the favorite courses in the Crash Course series. Both the man and the woman do the same footwork and dance the same patterns together. The patterns are fun to dance and lovely to see. Assuming you already know how to Polka and have had at least Beg Western Swing, you will really enjoy this course!
